A small river runs off the slopes of North Dartmoor to the town of Okehampton and beyond. This is the West Okement River high on the moor on a gentle day.
The water was so clear I drank some to quench my thirst.
A slight artistic filter has been applied.

I am a photographer based in the SW of UK in Mid Devon. I use a Pentax K5 and shoot mainly landscape and flora macros. My favourite locations (and there are many to choose from in this part of the world) are the coastal footpaths and the moors Dartmoor and Exmoor. I have a soft spot for trees and enjoy both ends to the day for shooting. I produce both traditional images and those with more artistic interpretation. I am available for groups and comissions, having some experience in wedding photography. I also sell a range of cards of local views in local shops.
