Artist's Description
A black and white version of the canal near Halberton.
The Grand Western Canal has recently been reopened after a breech in 2013. This is part of the repaired section near Halberton just after the work was completed. A digger is still on site. Trees are reflected in the calm water.
An artistic filter has been applied to this image. Near Valley house.

About Pete Hemington
I am a photographer based in the SW of UK in Mid Devon. I use a Pentax K5 and shoot mainly landscape and flora macros. My favourite locations (and there are many to choose from in this part of the world) are the coastal footpaths and the moors Dartmoor and Exmoor. I have a soft spot for trees and enjoy both ends to the day for shooting. I produce both traditional images and those with more artistic interpretation. I am available for groups and comissions, having some experience in wedding photography. I also sell a range of cards of local views in local shops.
