The woods in Autumn on the embankments of old Woodbury Fort also known as Woodbury Castle. The roots are prominent in the steep sides of the raised banks, which were originally used for fortification. Woodbury is in Devon and between Exmouth and Ottery St Mary. This is the high point of Woodbury common.
