A sunset shot on the beach at low tide near Exmouth in Devon. Taken between Sandy bay and Orcombe Point on the Jurassic coast. After the sun had set these deep colours emanated from the sky and reflected in the wet sand at low tide. At this time of the year, the sun sets parallel with the beach.
I am a photographer based in the SW of UK in Mid Devon. I use a Pentax K5 and shoot mainly landscape and flora macros. My favourite locations (and there are many to choose from in this part of the world) are the coastal footpaths and the moors Dartmoor and Exmoor. I have a soft spot for trees and enjoy both ends to the day for shooting. I produce both traditional images and those with more artistic interpretation. I am available for groups and comissions, having some experience in wedding photography. I also sell a range of cards of local views in local shops.
