Artist's Description
The remote lake of Wast Water in the English lake district in Cumbria
Taken in June late in the day and rendered in Black and White.
A classic view point of the nations favourite landscape, and a moody image with low cloud and a slow exposure.
About Pete Hemington
I am a photographer based in the SW of UK in Mid Devon. I use a Pentax K5 and shoot mainly landscape and flora macros. My favourite locations (and there are many to choose from in this part of the world) are the coastal footpaths and the moors Dartmoor and Exmoor. I have a soft spot for trees and enjoy both ends to the day for shooting. I produce both traditional images and those with more artistic interpretation. I am available for groups and comissions, having some experience in wedding photography. I also sell a range of cards of local views in local shops.
