Artist's Description
The large River Exe estuary near Exmouth at low tide, has many appeals for birds, walkers and kite surfers, as well as for the boating people. The estuary is sheltered by the large spit called Dawlish Warren, which gives the whole area many facets. This is taken on a quiet winters day and rendered in Black and white.
About Pete Hemington
I am a photographer based in the SW of UK in Mid Devon. I use a Pentax K5 and shoot mainly landscape and flora macros. My favourite locations (and there are many to choose from in this part of the world) are the coastal footpaths and the moors Dartmoor and Exmoor. I have a soft spot for trees and enjoy both ends to the day for shooting. I produce both traditional images and those with more artistic interpretation. I am available for groups and comissions, having some experience in wedding photography. I also sell a range of cards of local views in local shops.
